Creativity and change

Ever notice how change, no matter how minor or serious, can be made easier and turned to your advantage by applying a bit of creativity?

Instead of just letting it happen, embrace the change and try to find some way of accelerating it - so you now control some of the pace. On the other hand, you may simply want to make it an easier transition to lower your personal stress in the face of said change(s). Creativity skills enable anyone to try looking at things in new ways, many new ways.

At least one of these ways will have appeal. Work that appeal until you build up a very positive approach to the change and find ways of making it work for you. If you cannot beat'em, at least join 'em in style!

Voila! change management mastered just like the pros!

Few things start or continue as planned

Well, it has been a long time, right?

I have been a bit busy with children and finishing my Graduate Certificate in Creativity and Change Leadership from Buffalo State College (State University of New York).

Anyway, it is my intention to post a bit more frequently from now on :-)

I ask a general question: what have you discovered in the last little while about creativity, innovation or problem solving that you would like to share?

1st post!

This is my first post on my blog!

Well, you may ask, what will be here?

To put it simply, it is part of my journey through the world of creativity, not as an arcane, dry academic topic (although I am studying Creative Sciences at Buffalo State College), but as a living, unfolding journey.

If you want answers, please go elsewheres - there will be plenty willing to sell you answers, whatever answers you wish. Heck, they may even be right answers! But if you want to co-discover an unfolding journey, yours and mine, then comment away and add your contribution to this neverending drama of life.

Thanks in advance!
